A decade subsequent to his heroic defeat of the hideous Kraken, Perseus-the demigod son of Zeus-is attempting to live a quieter life because a village fisherman and the alone parent to his 10-year good for nothing son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle towards supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened ~ dint of. humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are loss control of the imprisoned Titans and their wild leader, Kronos, father of the all a~-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their operative father long ago, leaving him to putrefy in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his veritable calling when Hades, along with Zeus' devout son, Ares [Edgar Ramirez], switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to seizure Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger being of the kind which Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and assembly of demons is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the aid of the warrior Queen Andromeda [Rosamund Pike], Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor [Toby Kebbell], and fallen the trinity Hephaestus [Bill Nighy], Perseus bravely embarks without interrupti~ a treacherous quest into the underworld to release Zeus, overthrow the Titans and keep clear mankind.
