Largely overlooked towards the period of his formative years, Art Farmer's consistently clever playing was more greatly appreciated in the custom that he continued to develop. Along through Clark Terry, Farmer helped to popularize the flgelhorn among brass players. His lyricism gave his bop-oriented denomination its own personality. Farmer studied pianoforte, kit, and tuba before settling steady horn.
